Whether you're navigating communication difficulties, recurring conflict, life transitions, trust concerns, working through addiction (numbing and medicating) behaviors, codependency, or feeling disconnected from one another, couples therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand your relationship and create meaningful change.

At Willow Bend Psychotherapy & Wellness, I take a holistic approach to couples therapy, recognizing that relationships are influenced by emotional experiences, family history, nervous system responses, communication patterns, and life stressors. Together, we explore not only what is happening in your relationship, but also the deeper factors that may be contributing to ongoing struggles.

Our goal is not to assign blame, but to help both partners feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with greater clarity and connection.

I support couples facing a variety of concerns, including:

  • Communication challenges or feeling like “I don’t ever feel heard or understood”

  • Frequent arguments/conflict or feeling like “we just can’t agree on anything”

  • Anxiety and stress impacting the relationship

  • Feeling disconnected with one another

  • Depression and emotional withdrawal

  • Substance use and recovery-related concerns

  • Codependency and boundary difficulties

  • Parenting and family stress

  • Life transitions and adjustment issues

  • Premarital counseling

**Intensives (offered at 2 hour, 3 hour, and 4 hour sessions) are available to support you in diving deeper without the stop-and-go across multiple sessions. Intensives are not offered as a one-time service, but offered as an additional tool towards reaching your goals as a couple.

Healing is possible when both partners are willing to engage in the process. My role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools that help you build a stronger, healthier relationship—one that feels more connected, resilient, and aligned with your shared values.
